Jim Henderson founded the Henderson Insurance Agency in 1978...and we have been serving the insurance needs of Central Pennsylvania residents and businesses for over 30 years! We moved into our present location at 3820 Walnut Street in the Colonial Park area in 1983.
We represent several A++ rated national and regional insurance carriers providing the most competitive personal and commercial insurance products available today. We specialize in working with optometrists providing professional liability and business insurance to over 700 OD's all across Pennsylvania and Maryland!

Jim Henderson, Agency Owner, phone extension 11 Jim has been a successful insurance agent and agency owner for over 30 years. He graduated from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania with a BA degree in political science/government administration. He has achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) Designation. Jim is involved in all aspects of agency operations from overseeing management to personal and commercial lines sales and customer service. Rachel Cangialosi (Henderson), Office Assistant, phone extension 10 Rachel graduated from from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania with dual degrees in Communications and Education. In addition, Rachel has obtained her Masters Degree in Education and teaches high school English at Dauphin County Vo-Tech School. Rachel has worked off and on in her Dad's business since the age of 16 and has become very familiar with the operations of the Agency as well as many of its clients. Vito (right) & Charlie (left) are my best buddies in the world my and constant companions! Sadly, little Vito left us on June 19, 2010 but is forever in my heart and thoughts. Charlie has taken over as #1 boss of bosses and he does quite well with the position! We all love them! Sorry...no email address...they're smart but it's the thumb thing!
